In recent years, we have witnessed an increase in the presence and activity of the People's Republic of China in the Persian Gulf due to the growing need for energy resources such as oil and gas to develop the economy and industry, as well as expanding trade relations with other countries in the Persian Gulf. China's extensive activity in the Persian Gulf will have major consequences for both China and other countries in the region and beyond. Therefore, the main question of this research is why China seeks to increase its presence in the Persian Gulf and what will be the consequences for the Islamic Republic of Iran. The research hypothesis emphasizes that China's main goal in increasing its presence in the Persian Gulf is to develop economic and trade relations, to continue purchasing energy and to make the region's economy dependent, and to challenge US influence in the region. Given the hostile relations between Iran and the United States and the context of the Islamic Republic's convergence with China, this will be in the national interest of Iran. In this study, descriptive-analytical method has been used and the method of data collection is documentary and library.
